I have decided to run these updates fortnightly around the New and Full Moon seeing I am a moon baby at heart being born on a Full Moon and the Moon ruling my entire chart as well. I have always loved the Moon and the cycles that it brings. The more I have embraced those cycles outside of myself the more I have been able to embrace the ones within myself as well.
And what better time to do this than the New Moon in Cancer - Cancer is ruled by the moon and new moons signify new beginnings. Cancer, like the moon, fluctuates. It represents the feminine, the mother, the nurturer, the protector. It is associated with traits such as sensitivity, emotional depth, nurturing, and a strong connection to home and family.
No two New Moons in Cancer are the same as the constellation of the other planets and how they interact with the Moon at the time is different. This New Moon is one of the sweetest of the year - conjunct Venus it is the perfect time to start something pleasurable, something that excites you but in a comfortable way, something that nourishes and nurtures you and brings connections and beauty into your world.
