When is this all going to be over?

I shared a little mini series in my Instagram stories recently about the top three questions I get asked as an astrologer - and I wanted to tease those out with a bit more context.
Let’s start with the big one: “When are things going to be over?”
Fair question. The world feels like it’s on fire. Things are chaotic, uncertain, and yes - genuinely scary. And we should be concerned.I’m not about bypassing the real dangers out there with “love and light” when what’s happening can and will impact our freedom, our safety, and our future — and by our, I mean everyone. Every single one of us. (Well… maybe not the few who sit at the very top of the pile — but you get what I mean.)
Anyway - I digress. The point is: things aren’t going “back.” We’re not returning to stability. Change has always been constant, but now? The pace, the scale, and the unpredictability of that change is unlike anything we’ve seen before. And we can’t ignore it. We can’t wait it out. We can’t just hope things calm down while we carry on with business as usual. We have to participate.
Pluto in Aquarius is the signature of radical power shifts. It’s collective, it’s disruptive, and it puts the pressure on systems to transform. This is “power to the people” energy — but not in theory. In practice. What people? Us. The people who choose to engage.
Neptune in Aries adds a layer of complexity. It blurs the lines between inspiration and illusion. On one hand, it can romanticise war, rebellion, or individual “hero” journeys. But on the other, it can fuel collective vision — dreaming up a future worth fighting for. If we stay grounded in reality, this is where spiritual courage and bold compassion are born.
Saturn in Aries makes that dream real — or demands that we try. This isn’t a gentle placement. Saturn here asks us to take responsibility for what comes next, to commit to our goals even when the road ahead is steep. This is self-leadership in action. It’s where our desire meets our discipline.
And then there's Uranus in Gemini — the wild card. Disruption of thought, of information, of connection. This is chaos in the mental realm: attention spans shattered, communication moving at lightning speed, truth distorted or fractured. If we’re not anchored in our own values and nervous systems, it’s easy to get swept away in the noise.
Which is why everything we’ve been learning about nervous system regulation, about grounding, about coming back to our centre — all of that becomes part of the revolution.Because a calm, resourced person doesn’t react.A calm, resourced person responds — with clarity, with purpose, with presence.
That’s how we show up.Not in panic, not in avoidance, but with quiet, anchored force. In community. With intention. With a deep, still knowing that yes — things need to change. And we are part of that change.
