This week marks the Astrological New Year when the Sun enters Aries on the 21st of March at the Autumn equinox. It is also the week leading up to the first Eclipse of the year happening at the start of next week. More on that in next week's post but eclipses always bring change. This week leading up is very opportunistic but we may have to sacrifice some of our dreams so that we can achieve something that is enduring and long lasting.
The two astrological highlights this week are the Saturn and Venus conjunction exact at 12 degrees Pisces on the same day as the Sun's ingress into Aries and Mercury moving closer to conducting first the North Node (exact at 16 degrees Aries on the 19th of March) and Chiron (exact at 18 degrees on the 21st of March).
So this whole week really culminates on the 21st of March. At the start of the week, we have the Moon in Cancer trining all the Pisces planets allowing our emotions to flow. If we allow ourselves to feel and at the same time use our mind to analyse what is coming up we have the opportunity to address things we have learnt from the past so that we can heal our past wounds or forgive people that have hurt us. Words can be healing this week if we use them consciously.
The Saturn/Venus conjunction really forces us to ground our dreams into reality. We may not get everything that we want but what we do end up with will be long lasting. As this falls on the Equionox, this energy is drawn into the whole new Astrological New Year. The Sun's ingress into Aries sextiles Pluto allows us to make something real that touches the depths of our being. Mars also being in the mix in this equinox forming a semisextile with the Sun and Pluto. This really focuses our energy in a big way (and the Moon in Virgo adds the detail) and adds motivation or force to push forward with something. Make the most of this opportunity!
The week also ends with Venus at 15 degrees Pisces sextile Jupiter at 15 degrees Taurus really adding to this theme of opportunities abound as long as we don't go too extravagant!
We will be feeling the waves of the Libra Full Moon eclipse already this week, which is about relationships, justice and balance. Stay tuned for next week's post on what eclipse season may be bringing up for you.
