Week of the 1st of January 2024

Mercury stations direct as we kick off January and I think this sets the mood for the whole month, maybe even the year. There is a sense of feeling like we want to move forward now BUT at the same time, things still feel a little contained. This push-pull energy marks much of the month of January.

It may feel like we can't be too optimistic yet and not change too much too fast. Relationship or financial issues may still need to be ironed out or what values we want to take forward into this new year. There is some nice practicality to this week though with the moon in Virgo, Libra and Scorpio aiding our need to communicate and balance our relationships. And we may feel the need to delve deeper to really get to the bottom of things.

There is a growing sense of potential but it’s not yet realised and could feel like we are still a bit stuck in the past. So use this first week of January to get ready, to revisit anything that may need a final look at before you can move forward. Most of January will have this flavour. By February the momentum will shift. So a little bit of patience and going with the flow till then is required.
